On December 16, at Shashi Central Station of Jingmen-Shashi Railway, gantry cranes were lifting containers in freight trains onto trucks heading for the destination.

This year Jingzhou Local Railway Co., Ltd. has upheld the working concept of "consolidating foundation, improving efficiency, optimizing services and promoting development", applied the new development philosophy, precisely aligned its operations with transport needs and initiatively integrated itself into the new development pattern. Through the unique new model of "local railway + multi-model transport", Jingmen-Shashi Railway has achieved a record annual transport volume of more than 5 million tons, fulfilling its annual target 15 days earlier, and has made breakthrough in transportation and production.
